I would like to know if a lot of people don't like the corner lot.?

Many times a builder will charge a premium for a corner lot. They make the lots look great on the plot layout but make sure you actually walk the lot and you know where the home will set on the lot. The worst is when it's a pie shaped lot with a big front yard and very small backyard. Find out what homes are going to be built around you to make sure their is a good mix and not all the same. Sometimes Taxes can be slightly higher because you have more sidewalk and street on a corner but it should not be that much difference.

It depends on the lot. I might feel a lack of privacy since 3 or 4 sides of the house are visable to traffic (headlights shining in your bedroom, bathroom, etc.). Also you might have neighbor kids wandering across your yard as a short-cut.
But if you were to open a business, a corner lot is a good thing. Basically it's up to you. Your house. Congrats.

We are on a corner lot and I love it, but then, I'm a people person. We get to know our neighbors better than many others because we're outside a lot and see folks more.
i've heard that corner lots are the most common subjects of vandalism and theft and the like. i guess their getaway is easier?
the headlights would drive me crazy.
Also, if you're going to have kids, there is the issue of traffic. you've got TWO streets to worry about.
