when you close the fridge door, how can you be sure the light goes out? it keeps me awake at night wondering?

Take the shelves and food out, and climb in. It's the only way to be sure.
try this if u av a camera fne put it on record stick it in youre fridge close the door then open it and c wot was recorded! it sorted me out rite!lol

If you have a look, you'll see there is a light switch in there. The door pushes against it and that switches the light off.
Simple - - - just unplug the fridge just before you go to bed!
Do what I do sleep in the refidgerator but take a extra blanket it's a little cold in there.
Manually press in the switch and see if the light goes out. If it does then you will know if it works when the door is closed. I wondered the same thing when I was a kid, till I tried this. Now I snooze like a baby on booze.
There's usually a little switch on the hinge side that catches the fridge and you can push it to check that it goes off when the door's closed.

there's this little button/tab near the fridge door. when you close the door, the light bulb turns off. try just pressing the button manually - it'll turn of the light. :) i discovered that when i was eight.

Open the fridge door, find the door switch, operate the switch with your finger and see if the light goes out.
Although it still might keep you awake at night wondering, because you can't leave your finger in the fridge all night!
i'm really sorry but there are a lot more important things to worry about, like will my dad live another 12 months or does my husband really have to take tablets for the rest of his life...... i just say don't worry or fret......
casue the fridge is smart and turns it off by itself
but if you want to be sure get inside the fridge and close it

Do you have a digital camera, one with movie mode? Put it inside the fridge while it's recording and shut the door. Then see what you've recorded.
Maybe the light goes out, maybe it doesn't... at least you'll know!
The Light Does Go Out. Close It Very Close to Shutting And It Will Go Off, Hope This Helps! Also, If You Unplug Your Fridge It Will Have No Light.
find the button that the door presses against and press it with your finger, then u'll know for sure if it goes out, because when the door closes it pushes the button that your finger pressed. Also if it still keeps u awake... Get a LIFE! :)

check the inside roof of your fridge it should have a sort of pushable button. When the door is closed ,it presses the thingy .turning the light off.
TRy it yourself puush the thingy with your finger and see what happens.
The door pushes against the little switch that turns the light off. You can see the switch if you look carefully. When you see it then PRESS IT. This will cause the light to go off till you remove your finger. The door will push against the little switch when the fridge door is SHUT. So now your sure that the light remains off when the door is shut. No more sleepless nights wondering!!
first get everything out of ur fridge and then get into it and close the door......u will know if it lights..!! hav fun
