adrress book-personal question?
(I was asked to be the person to distribute information for a prayer chain in our church. There could be 300-500 names)
2) If I send the message to the group will it be sent as spam?
3) Is there a way I can save all the addresses from the person who has been doing the prayer chain without reintering each name.

You could download all the names and addresses onto a floppy disc from their computer to yours then just download onto your yahoo.
Don't think there's a limit as to how many people are IN the Address Book.
As for sending messages to that many people: I think Yahoo either limits the number of people to whom you send a message (100, I think) OR it asks for you to enter a special identifier code to prove you're not a computer. I don' t remember which. Try sending to everyone on your list and see what happens.
On the RECEIVING end, generally any of your recipients who have given you a work E-mail address might have a server at their company that will view your message as spam if there are more than a particular number of recipients listed in the TO portion. This number would vary from company to company. If you are sending to another Yahoo member, the spam guard will not block your message if your E-mail address is already in THEIR address book.
As for easily transferring the contact info to your Yahoo Address Book. there should be a way for you to save that info from the other person's computer onto a disk (floppy, CD, flash, zip) to transfer to your computer. Go to your Yahoo Mail homepage and click on Help to see if you can get guidance as to HOW you would upload that stuff, once you have it, and to find out if there's a particular format/file type that would make such a transfer easier.
Good luck.
