I am renting a house right now. Our lease is up in 3 months and I am really homesick (i moved 2 hours away)?

There is usually a clause in the lease that lets you out of it for one months rent. Perhaps you can check with your landlord or reread your lease to see.
Breaking your lease can make it difficult to get another apartment. If you have a cosigner for the future it may not be as big an issue as they can help you get into another apt. Smmaller complexes and duplexes sometimes have less strict rules for who gets in as well. Keep that in mind if you do break the lease.
Good Luck!
Oh and I have broken several leases and in my experience no one takes you to court. They do tack on an astronomical bill and screw your credit but they have better things to do than take you to court.

What's the worst that could happen? You'd be a lowlife that didn't live up to your obligations.
Nothing your landlord could do to you would be worse than the character you're giving yourself. Keep your word. Either stay, or leave and pay the terms of your lease.

The worse that could happen is your landlord could sure you for the 3 months rent & probably tack on some damage, or penalties, including court fees.
You'll probably be able to figure out a way to pay the rent, otherwise you may need to figure out hot to pay the legal expense, the landlords & yours.
We all want to be completely happy, it's not just not realistic. Talk to your boyfriend about what's going on & you may feel better after you talk. Maybe he dosen't know what's bothering you. Maybe you just need to visit your family this weekend for a pick-me-up.
Good luck!
You would lose any deposit you put up and most likely be sent a letter stating that you owe for the 3 months --
you'll most likely put in a change of address so you'll get the letter --- depending on how you leased --- if it was a home/apt. signed with the 'renters assoc'.. you'll end up with a black mark on that -- (if) there is any damage to the place --- by skippin out - it could happen after you leave -- you would be responsible for that also, since most will do a 'walk thru' to determine if you are leaving it in good condition and you are considering sneaking out... they
COULD attempt to sue you --- most likely will only threaten...but if so.. and you don't pay -- (??) as well as hurt your credit ...
I'm (2 hr) from family --- it's easy enuff to drive there so your best bet is to ride out the lease and make sure and give notice at least 30 days in advance...
You never know where life will take you next --- and you don't want to negatively effect your ability to rent in that area in the future --- or hurt yourself credit wise...
Good luck !!
if u r not happy with things rigth move back home and about the lease see if u can sub lease to a other renter. Ask your landlord. If not 3 month of this will go by fast and it will be worth it because u a life time of happen to go!
Every situation is different in this case. Your best solution would be to contact your landlord as soon as possible and explain your situation to them. Common practice is to pay a "break the lease" fee, usually a month or two, but sometimes less if your place can be rented back out to someone else very quickly. Also, you should be able to get your security deposit back if you took decent care of the place.
I wouldn't reccommend just leaving, because your lease is a legal contract, and if you just take off, it can negatively affect your future credit, not to mention in the future when you need a rental refernce to live elsewhere.
