Answers:
You can use shredded newspaper in your compost pile.

Use as padding when you mail stuff.

Use wet to contain plant roots whenever you dig them up and have to hold them over for a little while before transplanting.

Other answers:
use it in your rodent's cage or maybe stuffers for halloween decor....or use it to cushion stuff that you mail

Donate it to a school. They might be able to use it for paper mache!
put in a bucket of water then make big wads of wet paper the size of a snoxball and through them at people.
Packing material. So, go buy a bunch of junk to ship and sell it on ebay... use the shredded paper to pack it... voila it's someone else's problem. ;)

You can also put some in your compost, not sure what good it would do plants, but if you're just looking for a frost barrier it might work.
You can burn it and stay warm. Use it to cushion delicate items when shipping them. Throw it in someone's yard you don't like.
Use it for toilet paper.
insulation
allergic to guenia pigs?
If you have a beanbag chair, you can use it to refill.
Farmers use it for bedding for their animals, like hay. Pet stores also take it (some do) for use as bedding for hamsters and small animals like them.

Give it to a bum, they can use it as insulation.
compost, reasonable amounts, layered inbetween other compost materials.
When my dog had puppies we used shredded paper in the puppy pen. Pet shops and animal shelters probably wouldn't refuse a donation of shredded paper.
google it their probably 100 diffrent ways to use it .
Depending on what kind of paper it is, but newsprint and some other papers are good for mulch (compost).

With cristmas coming an awesome gag gift for someone at work and put a little present inside a big box with it
Something you ought to know is that pressure-sensitive carbonless copy paper has chemicals that are sufficiently carcinogenic that you would not want to use the paper for anything related to food, pets, fruits, or vegetables. Probably the best you can do with the paper is find a recycling centre that accepts office paper waste.
Check with pet stores or dog breeders as they use it for bedding.
I use my shredded paper in gift basket's
You have lots of good options here! I make handmade paper from mine and sell it to scrapbookers. Once you boil the shreds down and make a pulp, I add natual dyes, pieces of leaves, moss, etc.... Makes for very interesting paper.

recycle it, make new paper.
I use it as a kindling for my barbque and then add small sticks over it and then larger ones. Since I prefer wood to charcoal it works for me.
use it for kitty litter, for litter in hamster and guinea pigs and mice
cages, for packing fragile items
what about contacting a moving company to see if they would need it
contact a pet shop or humane society
Take it to the recyle center. Or use it in animal cages or for padding in shipping pkgs., or cat litter box.
