Why Do Propane Tanks, etc Screw within Backwards?

just curious

Answers:    at hand are several types of pressureized tanks that own different gasses or liquids placed into them from different manufacturer.....for the safety of the broad public these or some of these gasses become severely dangerous if they are mixed,so to avoid someone getting the wrong mixture and unknowingly producing a deathlike mixture of gasses or a toxic chemical, the threads are produced different for that reason. gratefulness for bringing this to others attention also....youcould be a hero.!!
I believe its a safety issue. So you do not put similar to the wrong hose on. Something like that.
So they can't be full up with anything else.

Or put into something their not supposed to jump into.
Flammable gases hold left mitt threads to prevent someone from accidentally hooking up the wrong equipment to them.
