The mushrooms in mom's yard are not domed at all, or flat and round like a disk at the top as some are. These are white and round, like golf balls. The dog tries to eat them so I wondered what they were and if they are poisonous?

I have these mushrooms in my yard also. The only one similar to it was called a Puffball mushroom. There are look alikes so I would be careful. Dont let animals eat them. Look up mushroom and you should find pictures under (Calvatia). Good Luck.........
