How do I get rid of silverworm in my kitchen ?
Answers:
Use bleach, Mix into a fairly strong solution and mop floor over before going to bed. They are probably coming from under the base units cover plinth. You may want to remove these as they are normally clipped on with plastic clips for easy removal. You will be surprised at the debris. Clean this out and spray neat bleach in under the units or use a bug spray, then replace plinths. Two or three application should clear the problem. Thereafter, do it every few months, but continue to mop the floor.

you've gotta keep it immaculate, they'll bugger off eventually
Make sure you don't have any damp or wet areas under your cupboards and units 'cause they like it damp.
try using rentoklil spray that might help you can get form any DIY store
They are silverfish and there are products designed to rid your house of them. Ask at the hardware store or a home improvement center. You must have a lot of damp areas in your home because that is what they like. Check to make sure everything is dry.
I've always been told they are like roaches.. if you see one your house is infested.. and you need to call an exterminator.
Not saying your house is dirty, I've known people in the South that kept houses so clean you could eat off of any surface.. but still had roaches (palmetto bugs as the are called in SC). Also, same goes for people living in apartment buildings.
