How can i get a cork out of a wine bottle?

The cork has been pushed all the way in the bottle and i want to keep the bottle...need the cork out though. Any ideas?

Answers:
A long thin knife will do it, but it will take a while. Turn the bottle upside down and reach up in there with the knife. Slowly slice off chunk after chung of the cork, pouring out the bits as the come off. Like I said, it will take a while, how badly do you want this bottle?

Other answers:
with a corkscrew
with a corkscrew
with a corkscrew? just push it in with a pen.
by using a cork remover specifically designed to remove bottled cork..
Corkscrew.
cut it up, tip the bottle on the side and stick a knife in there and cut it into smaller pieces that will fall out of the hole.
Turn the bottle of wine upside down over a jug...so that the wine is transferred safely and cleanly into the jug.

The use a long, thin, sharp knife (eg. steak knife).and (whilst the bottle is still upside down) carefully poke the knife into the neck of the bottle and cut the cork into pieces.

Then rinse out the bottle...and if desired pour the wine back into the bottle.

I've done this a few times...it does work !
Can't be done. You should decant the bottle into a decanter with a cap - just get a clean cheesecloth, a clean funnel, fold the cheesecloth once or twice and line the funnel - then pour slowly through the cheesecloth and funnel into the decantor. Run the wine down the side of the decanter if you plan to drink it immediately.
you could try using a long spike and breaking the cork in the bottle into small pieces that will pass through the bottle neck?
The only way I can think of is trying to chop the cork into tiny bits with a long blade. It will take you forever, but by chipping away at the cork you should finally remove it.
Hey,
I would recommend to push it further inside so that the cork falls in the bottle and you can enjoy the wine. It is difficult get it out if it passes beyond a certain point...
smash the bottle!
empty the bottle, take a towel and cover the bottle, carefully hit the bottle with a hammer and waa laa the cork can easily be picked up. watch for broken glass.
The only thing I can think of that might work is to take something like a long skewer used to grill kabobs and try to chip up the cork enough to wash it out with water.
Heat the neck of the bottle, I.E. pour semi hot water, NOT BOILING, over the neck so as to expand the glass and pour some Olive Oil around the inside of the neck. Pierce the cork with a knitting needle, pull to the top of the bottle and try to gently ease the cork out.
i,m an expert at this one- get a wooden spoon, place the bottle between your feet and hold tight, cover the end of the bottle with a cloth and carefully push the handle end of the spoon slowly against the cork till it goes into the bottle , there will be some spillage so beware!!
