How do I keep things from eating my pumpkins out of my pumpkin patch?
Answers:
Try stringing up some pie pans. Birds can not stand for reflecting light. Place a piece of cloth over the pumpkins it won't hurt them. I grow atlantic giants so I have learned a few things over the years. One thing I have tried is to tie a string through old cds (aol has provided me with several dozens of cds through the mail). Tie them up so the can spin in the wind, reflecting light everywhere. You could go as far as buying a dummy owl to set up in your garden. That would keep away other critters as well.
Other answers:
Flashlight taped to a shotgun. Wait in camo clothes. Kill the buggers.
Works everytime.
