I found a red and black striped snake in my yard and I want to know if its venomous?

I live in East Orlando, FL and I found a snake in my yard.I know it wasnt a coral the stripes werent that defined they were a bit blurry'er (sorry about the word choice!) It had a white belly and it was about 2 1/2-3 ft long. I just would like to know what kind of snake it is and whether or not its venomous.
