Does anyone have any ideas for what do to with items I don't want anymore that aren't good enough to donate?

It's mostly household items such as cookware, etc. that are a little too dinged up to give to Goodwill, but are still perfectly usable (I was still using them before I got new stuff for gifts.) I really hate to just throw stuff in a dumpster.

Well first I wouldn't rule out Goodwill. To paraphrase, one person's trash is another's treasure.
