My venus fly trap is wilting. what's wrong?

i just get a venus fly trap because I thought it looked cool. it is sitting in the glass with plenty of night light and water. some of the bigger stalks are wilting, but here are newer small ones budding. I'm not sure if there's something wrong with it or not. anyone own a clue?

Answers:    It sounds like you hold too much water surrounded by it. When there's too much moisture the plant turns dark green, next black, and sort-of wilts away. I would fund off on the H2O and see if the non-wilted portions perk up for a moment. If they're wilted and black they're already gone...but hopefully your new chutes should do resourcefully! :)
