Whats best to put in the door of a refrigerator, milk or condements, or something else?

Hi.., anything HIGHLY perishable like Milk, OJ, cooked sauced should not be on the door. Having kids or a big househould.., if you calculate the time spent opening and gazing into the frig starts to wear down the more persiable items. Pickles, ketchups, mustards (condiments) are a better choice. Also smaller items that are consumed on a daily bais would be a better substitue. Also.., there are inexpensive filters.., or if that fails baking soda to absord odors. But remember it doesn't have to smell bad to make you feel bad. Use a thermometer and check product guidelines

Anything you like, as long as it doesn't fall out. I draw the line at stuffing the cat in there though...she fits much better into the meat drawer.

The coldest part of your fridge is the back, so use that for the more perishible items, including milk. Use the door for condiments and stuff that doesn't go off real quick
I think it's best to put condiments in the door and like someone else said, don't overload it, we did that and had problems with the door.

doesn't really matter...condements are ok and lemons, butter, eggs, salad dressing, peanut butter, jelly, camera, art paints, bathroom caulk, nail polish, panty hose, glue, that's what I have in mine.

I prefer to keep the condiments in the door of my fridge, I also keep cold drinks there rather than having them dig around in the shelves and bins looking for soda.
Our fridge has lots of door space, but I always makes sure whatever goes in the door has a seal-able cap, not a pinch shut top, we avoid messes this way.
