I have about 50 paperback romance books in good condition. Does anybody know where I can donate them to?

I don't think the library likes paperbacks donated.

Answers:
Goodwill centers are popping up all over the place. Is there one near you?

As a side note- Thanks for not just throwing them away. We need more people like you. :-)

Other answers:
The Salvation Army and Good Will will take them, at least ours do.

Goodwill is good but if you have ever spent time in jail those women read a lot and the selection is small and mostly romance novels. The food, clothes, company even water is awful and sometimes all you have is a decent book to pass time. And no one buys them they are donation only.
Goodwill, Salvation Army and The Boys Ranch all accept donations. You'll have to take them to their outlet though.
Try any nursing home in your area. They also like magazine donations
try the Good will.
Check in your area for an adult literacy program. They frequently need books to use when teaching their clients to read or to sell at fund raisers. Check for a group called ABLE (Adult Basic Literacy Education) or others in your area.
