What do you do first for 4 cases that happen in the same time :-baby cry - phone ring - water boil - door ring
Answers:
Turn off the water. Water can boil away faster than most people think and thus cause a fire hazard. Many house fires are started every year by a pot left unattended on the stove.
Other answers:
Pick up the baby
Throw the pasta in the boiling water
Ignore the phone - they'll call back or you can call them back, it's not the end of the world
See who's at the door.

I woukd turn off the water, open the door and tell them to hold on, take care of the baby, and then either answer the phone or let it take a message, and return to the door.
go to the baby then turn off the water cooker then answer the door then the phone kids come first but u dont want to burn ur house down or have it over flow to where u can slip on it and brake ur neck
Add a fifth catagory..."grab a beer" on the way to the door.
"Calgon, take me away!"
turn down the water
pick up the baby (do not take baby around stove)
answer phone and say hold on (unless you have machines, in that case ignore it)
answer door
1. Baby as it needs first care as may be got bitten by something (insect) or got scared.
2. Take care of water as it means the stove is heated up to prevant fire.
3. Door ring to check if there is any one waiting outside.
4. Phone as it has a option to find out from the caller id or they will call back.
check baby first, while holding baby answer door , if it is a friend ask them to check water on stove for you and then answer phone
does this sound logical?
Yell "just a minute" to the person at the door,
set the water off the burner & turn off the burner,
pick up the baby,
pick up the phone and ask "can you hold on a minute?" or ask who it is and can you can back(?).
Go to the door.
commit suicide
This is actually a more subtle question than it first appears.
The first issue you should address is to pick up the baby. The baby represents your family.
The second should be answering the door. The knock at your door represents your friends.
Next, you should answer the phone. The phone represents work, job opportunities and financial success etc.
Finally, you should take the pot of boiling water off the stove/unplug the kettle from the wall-jack. The boiling water represents life's chores, annoyances and unpleasant aspects, etc.
Ideally, that is the order in which people should orient their priorities: Family and friends come first, then comes work and material gain, and last such things as chores.
I hope that helps. Good luck to you in all your endeavours. Take very good care and have yourself a most joyous day, every day.

Always check the baby first, the rest just don't seem very important.
