What's the best method to get rid of moles / voles? Tried everything commercially available with no luck?

Castor Oil. It's non-toxic and biodegradable. Moles hate it. Won't harm your pets or plants.

The cheapest, and I've found most effective, is to stick children's little handheld windmill things (whatever they're called), into the ground wherever a mole hill starts to appear.
They don't like the vibration through the soil when the wind blows and these start spinning.
**It's also quite colourful, if a little weird looking - but it works.
get rid of their food source. They prefer grubs. treat for them!!
When I worked in a beauty salon we always had people coming in asking us for our hair clippings. They believed that putting hair in the holes gave off a human scent that scared the moles off. I don't know if it worked, but we always had people coming in and taking the hair. Good luck!
