This is something I heard? (read below)?

I heard that if a house is sold by a realtor and the house gets sold the realtor gets a big cut of that money for profits so it's best if sold by owner, Is this true?

a realtor usually gets between 10 to 15 percent. but also take into account its hard to sell your own house
Yes, Realtors earn a commission when they sell a home.
Anytime you use a realtor to sell a house they get a percentage of the selling price as a commission.
Yes, when you ask a realtor to sell your home, he/she will advertise the home, show the home to prospective buyers and, in turn, gets a cut of what you make. 7% of the sale price is standard, but you can cut a deal.
yeah i guess
When a house is sold in georgia there is a 7% commission taken from the price. 3.5% goes to the realtor that listed the house and 3.5% goes to the realtor that sold the house. Lots of people do sell their own house. It's not that its so hard its just so time consuming.
Yes, the Real Estate Company does take a percentage of the sale price - it's called commission. It is better to deal directly with the seller, but then, you risk the chance of being ripped off. Either way, we can get shafted.
