how do i get rid of ants? no chemical terror pls...?

politely asking them to leave doesn't seem to work.

Answers:
Follow their trail to try to find where their nest is, then set up a speaker next to it, and crank up some Celine Dion. Those pests will be fleeing for their lives in no time!

pepper baby, black pepper
pepper baby, black pepper
you can use vinegar and water to get rid of ants and spiders. spray it around your base boards... it has worked for me for the last 5 years...
I had ant problems and the only thing that worked for me was getting pest control here. I tried everything and nothing worked. Good luck!
You only get ants, when you have alot of sugar, or sweet stuff lying around the house. Find out where the ants nest is in your home and then give it a good clean with some water, wash your floors and stuff. My parents had loads of ants in the house, it was because of my brother spilling maple syrup under the table and forgetting to clean it up, but my mum washed the entire floor and, my brothers just squashed the ants, to get rid of them.
This may sound gross but it actually works... Urine, my uncle collected his urine in a used soda bottle and poured it on all the ant piles in my yard and his and the ants did not return. This is TRUE! I not sure who told him about it but it works...
Sucrose (artificial sweetener)
Peppermint soap.
Ants hate the smell of natural peppermint. Wash the floors, areas where they walk across, and where ever they may get in with peppermint soap and water.
Also, keep any food in sealed containers and clean up any spills or crumbs as soon as possible. Ants wont come in if they cant find food.
why don't u try old Indian method of sprinkle some wheat flour or u can try turmeric powder too on the hole from where they came.
since ants are known to follow the one infront of them make them follow eachother in a circle. This will cause them to march to death. Then with a broom and pan...well you know the rest.
BABY POWDER!! I had ants all around inside the front entrance to my house, and I sprinkled baby powder across the entrance and it solved the problem!
Caulk every crack in your kitchen or where you keep any food at all. Sugar ants usually come in search of water, to escape water from rain outside, or for sugar.

There is also a great product called Terro that you can buy where lawn stuff is sold. It takes about two weeks for an infestation but it definitely worked for us. We used Dap brand caulk too.

Good Luck
get a licensed exterminator. Some kinds of ants are harder to get rid of than others and some can destroy your home (carpenter ants--almost as bad as termites). If you're finding the small black or tan ants known as sugar ants on your counters or floors you can try a fine dusting of borax (in the laundry soap aisle) along your baseboards and window sills-and keeping these areas extra clean and free of any food. Honestly though, your best bet is getting an exterminator in ASAP.
