Floating candles are beautiful and some come in the shape of flowers. I think both look lovely. It just depend on the size of your table too.

it depends i prefer flowers coz it look lovely and can mix with many style but if you want it to look romantic and luxury ,candles will be better i think

Candles...you don't have to make sure they have water....and when you burn them when people are over it is a sign of warm friendship.
I would have chosen floating candles in a blue coloured glass bowl filled with water .
