My flatmate scares my cat away when he comes in her room. But my flatmate comes upstairs to use kitchen etc.?

My cat is jittery as it is.(poor little fella). Now he is scared of her and I am afraid she does it even though he is upstairs. Hes isn't a dog. How can I tell her in a nice round about way not to do that? :(

You need to come straight out and tell her how you feel. The truth is the best answer. You can sugar coat it if you want. But I would give it to her straight and ask her not to scare the cat anymore. Best of luck.
