How much work it is depends on how it is anchored down.
If it is a large shed (larger than 8 x 12 you may run the risk of tortion damage to the roof system (as the shed moves across the yard the natural dips cause it to twist, loosening and possibly tearing the shingles.
If it is a pre-fabricated shed, look for mobile home style soil-screw anchors to which the shed is likely bolted. Unbolt the shed from the moorings, dig around the base to make sure that there is nothing else holding it down.
First (and most obvious) empty the shed of everything.
Turn off the power supply to it at the circuit breaker in the house, and un-earth the buried cable leading to the shed, cut and relocate as necessary.
Inspect the supporting timbers for insect damage.
Carefully jack the end up onto boards to slide it across the yard.
If the shed is home-built, it could be as easy as a pre-fab, or nearly as tough as moving a house (concrete block foundation with concrete filled cells, and anchor bolts through the sole plates, with sheathing on the interior walls.) In this case, since you are asking the question, I strongly recommend hiring a contractor to do the work.

Yes. We moved ours 2 ways. We jacked it up using 2 - two ton jacks and drilled holes, used lag bolts in 4 heavy duty wheels. hooked up the garden tractor with heavy chain to 2 eye bolts and very carefully pulled it to where we wanted it to go. Then using plywood we jacked the shed up and pulled the jacks to turn it around from either end and kept moving the plywood and jacks until it was turned the other way . set blocks under the shed and removed the wheels then the jacks. It took about 4 hours to do it safely but the shed was a 10x12 on a wooden deck.
