where do roaches live in homes? and how do they get in?

Omg i just killed a roach in my room.
our house is pretty clean except for behind my tv
which i just cleaned and i thought i saw the roach come from there
well it either came from there or the window or the hole in the wall from cable drilling, but the roach was pretty big and idk how it got in, there were no other roaches or anything behind the tv

Roaches come into the house by hiding in grocery bags, clothing, and other household goods, or through openings around screens, pipes, or doors. Most likely the one that you saw came in through the hole on the wall. Using silicon (sold at Home Depot or any hardware store) to seal up the whole will prevent any other bugs from using the hole.
Where do they live in homes?
Roaches live any place where they find:
- Food,
- Water, and
- A hiding place.
So basically anywhere in your house that meets their needs is where they live. Hope this answered your questions.

It might have come in from underneath the door, they are very flat and can scamper in from there. You can judge for yourself. Probably not the window because they like dark, secluded places. It probably ran behind the TV because it is dark there when you have the lights on. But at night it is having fun running all over your room.
