Tiny black swimming things in water on pool cover. What are they?My sister say's they are frogs I say larvae.

Answers:
It's mosquito larvae. If the cover will support it add a gallon or so of bleach to the standing water in the cover, it should rid you of the problem. OR some liquid chlorine.

Most likely larvae from mosquitoes.
they are tadpoles..aka: BABY FROGS!!
It kinda depends on what they look like.
if they are medium-tiny and have swirls on their stomachs, their miniature frogs: tadpoles
Otherwise its probably some kind of larvae
since the water is still, most likely mosquitoe larvae.
Mosquito larvae. Betcha. Tadpoles are bigger.
My girlfriend had them just last year and they are baby frogs. Just wait a couple weeks and they will be singing to you. I suggest getting rid of them before this happens.....
