I bought 2 leather sofas and received them today. The front of the sofas is hard. Is this normal?
I want to know if this is normal. I've certainly never had a suite like this before or ever sat in one. Is it just the design? Am I being too fussy? I thought you could flop down into a suite and it would be comfy. Is it that there just isn't enough padding?
Does anyone else have experience of a hard front on the seat of a sofa?
Thanks
I bought this mail order so could not try before I bought.
Answers:
No! Real leather exposed to long periods of sun-light/ heat/ or sitting in a wharhouse, would produce effect your describing.
contact seller ASAP! or contact manufacture of items.
Other answers:
you are being tooo fussy. if it like sticks out and pokes you or gives you cuts, its a bad sofa. Yell," Bad Sofa!!!" at it and reutrn it. if it is just like hard, it probably will soften eventually after you sit on it.

Are the seats upside down or back to front? If they are movable at all......
maybe the cow worked out
It is a badly produced one. Doesn't matter pay the transportation and change a better one.
well we've got a leather sofa and although it's probably normal for the leather to be a bit hard at first that piece of wood under the surface does'nt sound right at all, if your not happy with it you should definately send it back, after all you've payed hard earned money for it why should you put up with badly made furniture, good luck.
