Can reverse osmosis work on very low water pressure or does the pressure need to be equal to or greater than full household water pressure? Does anyone with a portable reverse osmosis system other than Crystal Quest use full water pressure to produce purified water and if so what is the flow rate of the purified water coming out of the unit?

Depends on your household presuure, but usually it uses a separate tank (called an accumulator) that is presurized to 40PSI to force the water through the membrane, and the flow rate is low because the the holes are so small in the membrane. less than 5 microns
