We have problems with squirels. My husband wants to shoot the :-( but they are so cute and furry. LOL. But they ruin everything, chewing up insulation, wiring in vehicles and house. I saw this Squirel Away at the store it was a powder. Is is a repellant or what? All it said was how to use it. Sprinkle it over bird seed. But will it kill them? Will it kill the birds? I don't want to kill them just make them move somewhere else. If this won't work do you know what will? p.s. didn't know what category to use this is the closest I can find.

"Squirel Away" it'a a poison, and yes, it will kill the squirels, not the birds though...
what else can you do is to use traps. it takes time to significantly reduce the amount of squirels, but you can let them live if you drive far enough in a wildy area to get loose of them!
another alternative is to use a good cat; it will love to hunt them, but this is not a happy ending for squirels...
