I'm moving to Oklahoma and it would be really nice if i could have my friends abet me with some of the little things i involve for my house but I know there is no bearing they are going to come there, it's out of the request for information. Would it seem too unkind to have one where on earth i am living now? Can you even do such a piece?
Answers: It does seem a bit forward to hold your own party for your benefit. Now if someone else chose to do that it would be more tolerable to the "donors". Frankly if a friend really requests to help you out, they will establish that on their own, without you sticking your appendage out to them.
I wouldn't. It does seem somewhat selfish. Be tolerant and I'll bet this will happen. Your friends will own "Going Away" party for you and I'm sure you'll go and get some things then. :-)
