Answers: Ladybugs hibernate in winter. When it get really cold...they migrate to a central location and stockpile out together until it warms up. They go and get in through any little hole and they're not insecure. Just catch it contained by a jar and put it outside in the garage or shed and it will be fine. They can freeze almost solid and still be okay when spring comes. It's in fact better for the ladybug if you put it outside, because in the house, it won't hold anything to eat. If it's hibernate, it won't NEED to eat until spring.
You want it when? LOL! HaHa!
