Doing some landscaping. some pros & cons of nandina domestica?
Answers:
**** must have.
Nandina domestica is a 4 star, top-o-line landscape shrub that has so many uses I cant list them all. (also in dwarf)
Almost no maintenance,
low water use,
bugs don't bug it
full sun or shade,
gives you color, flowers, red holly-like berrys in season.
**** 4 star MASTER GARDENER RATING.

On the other hand it can be invasive and take over a good chunk of your yard and is *really* tough to get rid of! I actually found it's rhizomes growing INSIDE my house. Came in thru brick weep holes, pushed thru insulation, broke thru sheetrock and then into and over an antique bookshelf.
I HATE the stuff!
