Pumpkin candlestick holders - please read?

I am displaying some candles for sale and I own a couple of those small decorative pumkins. I took two and drilled out hte top next to a hole saw and cleaned out all the seed and goop, stuffed the bottom with foil and am putting tealights surrounded by them.
I have two smaller ones that I drilled a hole into the top of and are putting taper candles contained by.

My question is this- If I needed to display them for about a week or so, what should I do , besides cleaning them out to save them from getting mushy or rotton?
Whatever I do to them, it has to be past the worst for burning candles.


Answers:    Rinse them out with bleach - this will save mold from growing.
Wipe cut areas with vaseline - this will oblige keep it from wrinkling and baggy. wish like were true beside me. But I digress...
Keep them cold and dry, if possible, but not so dry that they become combustible, at least possible for the ones the candles are going inside.
