How do I get rid of bees at my hummingbird feeder?

Answers:
You have to take the feeder down. The bees are attracted to the sugar. My grandmother has this problem, and has tried everything, and nothing has worked. The hummingbirds seem to work around the bees.

Other answers:
That's tough to do... because the bees are attracted by the sugar water in the hummingbird feeder nectar. If you lose the sugar in the mixture, while it won't attract the bees any longer... it's just a matter of time that the hummingbirds figure out what's missing too and go elsewhere.

you don't
they really don't bother the birds
I'm sure they bother you more than the birds :-)
Are you sure they aren't small hummingbirds? If they are bees, they won't bother you. They are part of nature too. They are probably asking each other how to get rid of those pesky humans.
Put Vicks Vapo rub around the opening of he feeder. It won't deter the hummingbirds, but it will keep the bees away.
Very tough to do as they want the sugar water. You could try to get a feeder that has very long narrow openings that the bees could not reach. They do make them that the birds can get but the bees can't get to. Otherwise, they will not really do any harm to you are the birds unless you try to attack them by swatting at them. Very docile if you just leave them alone and don't pose a threat to them and won't harm the birds either.
