anyone have palazzetti pellet burning stove? need some advice on buying one, would appreciate any advice?

I think I like a normal wood stoves better, yet I do not know about the particular type of pellet stove you have in mind.
I had a pellet burning stove in a rental apartment. When working, it released great heat, but got clogged up frequently, too much work!
I personally felt too dependent on pellets; one cannot burn wood or anything else in such stove. I also was concerned about chemicals in the pellets to hold them together.
How about solar heat? Passive solar?
An outside wall can be painted black, and a greenhouse-like glass construction may be placed in front of the black wall. A hole in the upper black wall them may blow heat in the house.
I have seen water tanks painted black and placed behind glass. The sun heated up the water very well. You may want to get more information.
