I have a problem keeping birds from getting under my window awnings. What will scare them away???

a fake owl, you can get one at home depot or Lowe's, must birds stay away from owls because owls eat other birds, i had a similar problem with a balcony
try to hang a dead bird ... maybe they will know it's a dangerous place to come to
aluminium or foil is a good one for keeping birds away from fruit trees, you could try hanging up a mirrored mobile in your window as they do not like the reflection,or movement
It won't look very pretty but if you hand on string tin pie pans the noise scares them away. Also, try spraying the inside of your awning with something? Bird repellent lol No.....wait......try putting a big rubber snake there! woooooooooo! I know that would scare the poop outta me!
I have heard CD discs hung on fishing line doing the business. I personally like our little friends my wife calls Tommy and Tuppence that call at nine every morning just jiving and having fun, ever tried to mimic a bird,man they at you stupid..then again they are butcher birds I think...makes me think of "Ghosts of Mars".....sticking their noses into our business...But I digress..what sort of bird??????
