How do I clean nail polish off my carpet?
Answers:
I'm afraid after 19 hours, that you have probably already tried something on the polish such as polish remover or acetone. If you have, I'll tell you right now, it's ruined! If you have not used anything on it yet, then you still have a chance.
The answer is plain ol' rubbing acohol. I have done this many times and it will take the polish out, but you need to have a shop-vac handy, and with some water, make sure that you rinse well and extract well. Otherwise the acohol can do some damage, just like the acetone, or polish remover. None of them are good for the carpet, so rinse and extract well.

Try acetone which is stronger than nail polish remover.
