my landlord is suing after giving back security deposit, what do i do?
Answers:
they would not have given you the money if there was repair work that still needed to be done. sounds like a scam. get a lawyer...
Other answers:
Give them the money. You did the damage.

Talk to a lawyer, ASAP. You didn't give me enough information to evaluate. However, if they are suing for property damage you will probably win. However, do NOT proceed without a lawyer, and counter sue for all costs and harassment.
if you really did the damage,,,then give him the money
Typically once the "Security Deposit" is given back to the tenant, it is based on the fact that a walk-through inspection was done with a clearance. Otherwise, the security deposit would have been held. Technically, he/she cannot sue you for anything.
Contact Legal Aide and ask for advice. Why are they sueing you?
no worries, he's just throwing money away. They returned your deposit, that means you are clear of anything they find to want to take from it now. He's just trying to scare you. Might be wise to look into the landlord-tenant laws, if he's trying to pull that crap, show him you are not ignorant, he'll quit harrassing you. Good luck!
