Answers:
mix boric acid with milk enough to make a paste in an old jar lid. Put where ever you see ants. Be sure pets or small children can't get to it. You can buy boric acid at any co-op. It's very poisonous so be careful around food and be sure to wear rubber gloves. Ants should be completely gone in a few days. I did this and it worked. Not only on ants but other bugs also. I hope this helps.

Other answers:
Try Terro- it's a clear liquid and I think you can find it at Walmart, a hardware store, or even some grocery stores.

its either ant powder or an ant eater sadly. (pesky little blighters)Good luck
Hi,

Dude that is scary!!

Hope you get rid of them...

Cheers!!
Its the warm weather. I had this exact same problem last week. I got this stuff called "ANT STOP!" Check first to see where the ants are coming from and put this spray all around your kitchen, kitchen door and all of your exit doors in your house. This will definitely get rid of the ants (mine haven't come back again so far). I hate killing living creatures but you cant have a kitchen-full of ants afterall.
Try a product called Terro - a liquid that you place on a piece of paper in an site inaccessible to kids and pets (it's poisonous). It's good -- if your grocery store doesn't have it, try an independent hardware store. I've used it for years and it's very effective.
Raid aunt and roach killer in the red spray can.
They're a great source of protein - don't waste 'em, taste 'em. You'll never look back.
Very tricky.

Firstly, all sweet things must be sealed with cling film before storing.

Secondly, ther must be a nest nearby, if you are unlucky, the nest will be under your house, then it's a call the exterminator jobby.

If your lucky, you maybe able to stop the ants coming in by blocking all entrance for them with powder.

I tried using that stuff that smells sweet but is poisonous, but it only stopped them for one year, after that they were immune.
If your ant powder is not working, you could always take some irish dance lessons and practice in the kitchen wearing BIG SHOE'S. If that does'nt squish em you might scare the B'JESUS outta them....lol
SERIOUSLY...make sure your ant powder is all around the outside walls...hope you get rid of them.
lay down some grits.they will take them back to there hive ;eat them and explode.its safer than putting poison down if you have kids.
I had a similar problem. The best hing on the market at the moment is Dethlac. It is an aerosol and you spray it on the known ant trail, or towards the bottom of your skirting boards and in fact anywhere you think they may be getting. It lasts up to 3 months. I also use Nippon gel along side of this. I no longer have a problem. The 2 products together are absolutely top drawer. Try them & good luck with the problem.
Draw a chalk line where the ants are entering. Ants won't cross the line.
anywhere you don't want ants to cross...put a thick line of wax crayon across it(a doorstep maybe) ants won't cross it.
I've always been successful by mixing an ant killing powder with jelly or jam. Supposedly they take it back to 'share' which in turns kills all of them. For immediate results I'd just take a pitcher of scorching hot water and rinse them away.
The ant is not a dirty creature, unlike you, so there was no need to throw away your food.
You can put out any poison in what form or shape, but it is never going to be 100% effective unless you keep your kitchen CLEAN! You guys are not used to the warmer weather, but in countries with a warm climate you have no other choice as to sweep your floors and clean your table and work surfaces EVERY TIME you have prepared or eaten food. Sorry, seems very fussy, but it is the only effective way to get rid of ants. Ever guessed why in all those warm countries where you go on holiday, all floors are tiled??
