my ac...the fan by it, my sister snoring, a dog barking outside, the keys clicking, my sister moving around.

I hear the heat bugs squealing in the tree tops & the chirpping of little birds, a raven, crocks from top the hydro towers across the fields ccrraaaaww crooooww, drip drip of the dew as it runs from the eaves. Pretty quiet when you live in the country & nearest neibour 1/4 mie away, earlyer I hear boats on the lake out for morning fish,
i hear my children playing, cars running on the nearby street, my heart calling for my love to come home sooner...
i think i can even hear you calling for someone to be with you, to talk plain and open about anything crossing your mind, am i right?

I hear traffic going past each way on Rt 30 as it's about 100 feet in front of our house. There is also a train going by on the tracks on the other side of Rt 30. The trains have just stopped blowing their horns when they come through town and it sounds so strange to hear the sould of their wheels and no whistlle.
I can hear the humming of the fridge...
the mewing of a stray cat outside.. (feral cat that would not appreciate me trying to pat it.)
