In my front yard we have an old milk-can. (So old you won't believe it!) Anyway, my father was wanted to mow under it so he moved the milk-can. Under it, was a small garder snake. Should we get rid of it? He really doesn't do any harm and i know garder snakes don't bite but my father wants it out. I told him he doesn't bother anyone but he insists. The snake is kinda cute. What should i do?
Answers:
Well first u have to catch it, or get someone around to catch it. (if you dont want to kill it where its at) and then u can let it loose elsewhere, OR you can bring it to a local pet shop and give it to them.... you might even get a few bucks out of the deal! =)

Yikes! I am SO afraid of snakes! But if it doesn't bother you, I don't think it does any harm. They DO bite, they just aren't venemous. Personally, I would want to get rid of it -- relocate it or something, but that's your call. I have heard stories of garter snake infestations, so be careful! Get a dog or something.
