Can we expect Scotish Power to resurface our newly tarmaced drive following repairs?

Repair was due to no electricity in the street - they have done an appalling job of repairing it - big patch at the top of the drive - are we within our right to ask for the whole drive to be redone?

Answers:
Yeah sure, tell them if someone accidently falls or has an accident it will be down to them! Try get in touch with your local councilor and tell him. He/She should be happy to help you, as they will be depending on your vote lol.. Tell them they will be your No:1 vote if they succeed in helping you!

Other answers:
You are within your rights, they should at least repair the part they ruined.

You can ask, but don't hold your breath. When you say "at the top of the drive", do you mean the part of the drive nearest the road, or were they on your property. If they were on their easement, they don't have to do anything. If they were on your property, you can try to sue them. Not sure that you would win.
