What do I do if I want to recycle or safely dispose of razor blades and exacto knives and things of that nature? Are there any places that do this kind of work, and if so, what do I do to get rid of them? Can I recycle them using my regular recycling routine, if possible? Thanks if you can provide any help.

I don't know of any services that will do it for you. I always take the blade out of the knife, wrap it in masking tape to blunt the edge, seal them in a plastic bag and dispose. (Keeps little fingers from getting cut taking out the trash.) If you have a very large number of blades to dispose of call your local trash carrier for saftey suggestions.
