Why doesn't a bricklayer use bricks after they fall on the ground?

Answers:
im a bricklayer by trade and the very simple answer is because they get chipped especially on the corners so then your brickwork doesnt look as good if you use them and people arent happy with the work hope that answers your question

Other answers:
They probably would re-use it if a laborer tossed it back up to him. Bricklayers are some of the laziest S.O.B.s I've ever seen. Without the laborers, a bricklayer is useless.
