What is the difference between a pre-fab house and manufactued housing. Is there a difference?
Answers:
Same thing. They're both made in a factory.
Other answers:
pre fab simply means fabricating the house in parts in some bunker somewhere according to your design and specifications and finally assembling them where you want ( it hardly takes 24 - 40 hrs to assemble). whereas a manufactured housing is a set houses predesigned and which are a part of a listing. Parts of which are Manufactured in an assembly line. they are essentially same but the design and assembly is slightly different. A manufactured housing could be made on the site itself or even away from the site and them assembled but the design is standardized and not customizable. whereas prefab is customized and is wholly assembled in the site and wholly manufactured somewhere else

pre fab is when the house comes to you pre-cut and ready to assemble...like a kit and manufactured is a mobile home
