If you had to pick between air conditioning and a pool which one would you choose and why?

I say AC. Someone posted pool, cause you can exercise in it. Well you do jump in jacks with the ac on too, hehe

Ac- takes tooo much eletricty and the cold air tends to lose easily
deffinitely the air conditioner, you can use it rain or shine ( but I would like to have a pool)
I'd take a pool for the exercise benefits as well as the cooling benefits.
Air conditioning. If it's hot at night, I can sleep with it on. Sleeping in the pool is not a safe option. Plus, AC is cheaper to maintain and I won't have any unwanted guests dropping by to use my pool.
I would choose an AC because I can alway's go swimming some where esle.
A pool to invite all the ladies over for a swim :P
AC...no cleaning, no chemicals, no water, no un wanted guests, water pumps use way more power then ac
pool because nothing comes closer to swimming
Get a heat pump.... My house is 65 degrees year around and it is cheap. a pool can only be enjoyed sometimes. It's hard to relax and have a beer while watching t.v. from a pool all the time.
also if you own your home and put in a pool in most cases it lowers the value.. I know it doesn't make sense but it does

Definitely a pool!! I love to swim and I really dislike airconditioning, the air seems stale to me. Because of my hubby though we have the air on all the time, I swear he's part penguin.

Air conditioning. I can sit in AC and be cool all the time! The pool will turn me into a prune after a little bit.
