how do you pack glasses and pitchers for a move?

Answers:
i used to save bubble wrap. plastic.or you can buy it. before that i used news paper. there is a trick to it. you place the class at one corner, and start to roll the glass. then you tuck it into the glass when you get to the end. always put the heavest glasses at the bottom, and the pitchers, i used light little boxes, and marked them what they were. on all sides. stem wear i used to pack different. you roll them the same way, but place them stem by stem every other way. so one glass is faceing one way and the oppist the other. this works well...mark the boxes like i said and use little boxes so they can be loaded on last.......mark all boxes with numbers and write on a tablet what is in box 10- kitchen dishes. 11 pots and pans. ect. this is the very easiest way. when some one is helping you move also.you can direct them to which room. hope this helps, it always made it easier for me ad the people helping us to move. a little more work keeps things from being broken and makes unpacking much easier.

wrap them in some new paper that you don't need anymore all should be fine.

Wrap in newspaper or bubble wrap and put in a box with the bottom lined...then pack the rest of the box tightly with the same
Well here's the way I do it: I use shirts, towels any soft plyable material. I use my clothes as packing padding and it saves on the number of boxes and ammount of trash you make. Of course the clothes will need to be re-washed afterward, but so what.
Go down to your local new paper plant. they should have *end rolls* ask for them. some places give them away for free. others will charge a nominal fee like a few bucks.

They are the news paper that was at the end of the roll before it was printed on. No messy ink and it is all in a nice neat roll!! AWSOME - I used it on the last 4 moves we made and I still use it when packing fragile things for shipping.

left over paper on the roll is perfect for kids to draw on too. :)
