What is a really good cleaner for kitchen countertops made of formica?
Answers:
Don't use straight bleach and water because they will eventually turn yellow, but do use the name brand of Clorox Cleanup. Is strong but works great on the Formica. I have 4 kids and white Formica, so needless to say, they do spill lots of stuff on them. It gets red kool-aid out of them!

EASY OFF BAM I use it everywhere, I love it!
believe it or not - amonia!
I use clorox cleaner for everything. It gets it clean and I haven't found any damage caused from it.
Use Cascade dishwasher detergent and a scrunge. I use it every week and it works great.
YOU REALLY DON'T NEED A COMMERCIAL CLEANER.. BELIEVE IT OR NOT VINEGAR AND WATER WILL CLEAN JUST AS WELL.
Be a little easy with the bleach, it'll sterylize the countertop very well, but it'll eat the enamel after a while. 20 years is a good long life for formica, congratulations! The best thing we found (I used to work for one of Formica companies vendors), is Simple Green.
After trying what seems like zillons of counter top cleaners I have found that the absolute best is 1/2 cup white distilled vinegar, 1 cup water, and 1 teaspoon cheap econo-brand dishwashing liquid. Put it in a spray bottle and clean as usual. Cheap and environmental friendly.
If you have tough stains to get up there's a great orange paste called orange-glo that works magic.
