What is an 'insert' for a fireplace?

i am moving into a new house and the 'insert' for the fireplace (whatever the hell that is), isnt included, i suggest its so you can choose your own, we are given a 1000 euro voucher for one but i have no clue what one is!!hah!!

and almost how much would you expect to pay for one?

Answers:    OK, I'm still green. When we buy houses here in America we must achieve screwed!!!! We don't vouchers for s***!!!! What you see is what you get!!! If it isn't at hand you get it when you move surrounded by. I think I should move to Ireland.

the insert is the actual fire-all you hold is the fireplace in your exotic house. you'll definalty get one for a 1000euro anyway, unless you are going for avery top of the array one. prices would start round 300euro or so for one
