How do u know if your growing a marijuana plant?

Call the cops and have them come out to look at it. They will be more than helpful.

Well, where did you get the plant?
If you dug it up from outside, it could be potentilla or wild strawberry. Before I knew any better, I thought my siblings were growing marijuana all over the yard. It was potentilla, no worries!
There are some other plants, like vitex, that looks like it when it is young.
If you happened to stumble across said plant in a farmers field out in the middle of nowhere, and dug it up, and now you have it in a pot at grandma's house, I would get rid of the plant ASAP!
wait until late august and see if it gets buds on it cut it off hang it up to dry then roll it up and smoke it....then ya'll know...hahaha
Well pull the leaves off of it and dry them out. After they are dry go buy rolling papers and roll tightly. Light the end and inhale deeply. Hold it til you cant hold it anymore. If you get high then it is probably marijuana. The smell is unforgetable and smells wonderful.
When its in its seedling stage, it will have 2 begining sets of leaves, a pair of oval leaves, and a pair of sharp blade type leaves. You will only see those 2 pairs for about a week, then the oval leaves will stay near the bottom of the plant, and it will grow taller with more blade leaves coming off, eventually it will have the signature 5 leave span (not 7, ever). If you have a digi camera or anything and you can take any pictures. I will be able to tell you exactly if its marijuana or not in a second. So e-mail them if you really feel the need.
