i have a cactus that needs repotting?

its a small cactus. what type of soil do you recommend for cactuses and is this a suitable time of year to repot?

Answers:
Anytime of the year will do mix sand in with regular garden soil 1 to 4 ratio doesnt have to be exact , cactus are hearty plants and only thing is they should not be over watered. Also wrap the cactus in newspaper before you begin to prevent getting thorns in your skin

Other answers:
Please do the repottingwearing gloves, in absence of sunlight.

Thoroughly water clean the pot, set aside to completely dry. Use small pebbles at draining holes, pack with sand-clay mixed soil.

Scissor trip extra & dead roots, and plant the cactus in the centre of thepot, about 2/3rds way down. Spinkle the muxed mud, add pesticide only to one corner of the pot. Keep the pot in
shade for a day. Do no over water.
