Where do you think would be the best place for me to live?

I've lived in Chicago my entire life and I love it here except for three things.....the weather, traffic and cost of living. I would like to live somewhere warm and near a larger body of water. I would like a mid-sized city with a lot of the ammenties of a larger city (culture, nightlife, access to the outdoors), but on a smaller scale. I have a professional job in marketing so ideally there would be a market for that type of work there. I've visited quite a few places, but still haven't found the right place. I love SF, but too expensive, I like Phoenix, but there aren't any near by lakes, I like Memphis, Tampa, Miami, Savanah, GA, but I am afraid I would get bored there after a few years. I don't like Atlanta, Jacksonville or Los Angeles.

Answers:
San Diego, CA. I'm from Milwaukee, so I know what you mean about the weather, and that's where I'm moving to when I retire in 3 1/2 years. My son lives there he's in the Navy, and I've visited him several times, at different times of the year. Google San Diego and see what they have to offer.

Other answers:
Vancouver British Columbia, up in Canada.

Its right on the water, tons of jobs, great people and in the winter it doesn't get that cold.

If you are bored where you are and do not think you would like Savannah, GA, you are hard to please. Sounds to me you are a free spirit who does what ever. IF you have a good job, stay where you are unless you can get a better paying job somewhere else. IF you don't like the weather in Chicago, you would not like Savannah, Miami, Tampa, Seattle or any other Northwestern city along the coast.
Also San Francisco has some pretty bad weather there as well. Seattle is pretty rough too.
Good Luck!
